NEW! Hyperion SNIPER XL - The MONSTER EPP 3D for Z3025-Class Motors! Already CAD Painted in the colorful design pictured.

The new SNIPER 3D XL, like its little brother the SNIPER, is made the Czech Republic for Hyperion by Hacker Model Production, and was designed by F3A Indoor/Outdoor pilot David Kyjovsky. It is HUGE, and LIGHT! As a result, the super-low wingloading means you can pull maneuvers you'd normally never consider (and wouldn't get away with, if you did). The Power Set chosen for the SNIPER XL maximizes performance and reliability, while minimizing weight and cost. We are pushing maximum power of about 50A at full throttle, so we use the H3025 motor which includes a cooling fan to protect the motor (note: Sniper XL documents may specify Z30, but we prefer H30 for this model). We want to stay away from a separate receiver battery pack to keep weight down, so we use the TITAN 80A BEC controller, which stays cool and can handle the SNIPER XL's servo load easily. All in all, a very sweet setup...
